Hi, I’m Justin, and I lead Hiking Heroes New Jersey alongside an incredible group of student changemakers.

I started this club because I believe nature isn’t just a place to enjoy, but a place to take responsibility for. Whether it’s removing invasive plants, planting natives, or restoring neglected trails, we take action where it counts.

Leading this team has been one of the most rewarding parts of my high school experience. I’m proud of the tangible impact we’ve made across New Jersey—and even prouder of the community we’ve grown along the way.

My favorite part about HHNJ is the good that we do - there is no better feeling than breathing hearty life back into the earth by cleaning it up, one step at a time. In my free time, you can catch me reading, hiking, or listening to music.

Hi I am Pravit Kochar and I joined Hiking Heroes because of my passion for nature. I have enjoyed going out on hikes all my life and now I find Hiking Heroes as a nice way to contribute.
